The Press Is Obsessed (And Honestly, Fair)

Underwear and sleepwear brand Stripe & Stare brings a richer palette to its latest collection, with indigo blues and deep purples taking centre stage for the new season. The launch also introduces two new underwear shapes including shortie knickers and demi-bras

You’d also struggle to find a softer pair than Stripe & Stare’s Tencel pants. The UK brand claims they’re wedgie-free (in my experience, they are), plus they’re available in cuts to fit all tastes. 

I love Stripe & Stare’s original style, which is just as good as you might imagine given that this is a female-founded brand (which also happens to be British). 

“Like the iconic underwear they make, Stripe & Stare's bras are made of that supremely soft fabric the brand is utterly adored for. I love the lace detailing of this style, it makes it feel like I'm wearing special-occasion lingerie as opposed to something ‘everyday’, and yet it's unbeatably comfortable. 

These don't move up or bunch, and because of the material, they're ultra-breathable and can be worn while you do anything, from working in the office to hitting the gym.

Stripe & Stare describes its brand as a “revolution, from the bottom up”. This sentiment perfectly encapsulates the British label’s commitment to keeping women comfortable, with undergarments that prioritise innovative design and super-soft OEKO and TEX-certified materials.

Touching the Stripe and Stare products, they are softer than any underwear I’ve ever felt. It feels like luxury – but should, really, be standard procedure. “Our policy is that you should be able to wear underwear that you can just forget about,”

The brand claims it makes 'the world's comfiest knickers' that will never give you the dreaded wedgie; and while we were suspicious at first, we can vouch that these big claims are indeed true.

These ones particularly excelled on the comfort front, with panellists saying they felt soft against their skin and were breathable all day. The generous gusset also stayed in place and didn't need readjusting. Hallelujah.
